Opt out of all school surveys . . . Only a highly trained expert can identify all the weasel words in the school survey opt out forms. Parents must be given notice and opportunity to opt out of many surveys, including School Health Surveys, School Climate Surveys and Social Emotional Learning assessment. Even if you can’t discern objectionable material in the opt-out form, just opt out anyway. Why? The surveys are not truly confidential because they collect personally identifiable information from your children. The surveys ask personal questions about family life, sexual preferences, sexual activity, even potentially illegal activity, thus inviting the state to come knocking at your door. The surveys introduce and reinforce sexual content, encourage sexual-identity questioning, and suicide ideation and affirmation – they are a source of much mental anguish among our children and until schools and school board recognize their error, we must be diligent and proactively opt our own children out.
Send notices of your refusal to consent in addition to opting out. Tell the school you refuse to consent to all surveys, all books and materials on gender and sexuality, mental health interventions, social emotional counseling and group discussions, health center visits, social transitioning including pronoun use, and everything except true emergency care. If you are a person of faith, include that in your letter. As a busy parent, I just regularly refuse everything that is optional. The State of Connecticut Department of Education and most Boards of Education have largely broken the trust of parents, and it will take many years to repair that bond. Inform yourself, your spouse and your child. Unfortunately, sexual indoctrination starts in Connecticut pre-schools. You have to be the first expert! Inform your children that while the vast majority of adults are caring, some use children for their own pleasure or self-satisfaction, including mental, physical and political indoctrination and abuse. Teach your children to be charitable, but skeptical. Teach them that like medical and social errors of the past (discrimination, lobotomies, Tuskegee, Jim Crow, choose your offense), mistakes are being made today and teaching “gender ideology” to kids is one of them. Assure them that with guidance from family, there is no wrong or inauthentic way for a girl to be a girl or a boy to be a boy. And, no matter how much a person might want to, they cannot change their sex. Teach kids that we treat everyone with respect, but that if anyone tells them they or someone might be “born in the wrong body” it is an unsafe situation and they need to tell their parents immediately.
Report your school to federal authorities when they cross boundaries. Are you aware of girls being forced to compete against boys in school sports, change with boys in the locker room, sleep overnight on field trips with a boy pretending to be a girl? This is a violation of a growing body of case and federal law and in the 2025-26 school year, federal authorities want to know. Have you been pressured by a clinic to falsely transition your child – the Federal Trade Commission wants to hear from you. Also, is your school teaching false gender ideology under the guise of “niceness” or anti-bullying? The Federal Department of Education wants to know – please fill a report.
