Wikipedia’s editors have just declared the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is “generally unreliable” on matters including the Israel-Palestinian conflict and anti-semitism.

Wikipedia's decision means the ADL now holds company with the likes of the National Enquirer and is treated like propaganda.

“ADL no longer appears to adhere to a serious, mainstream and intellectually cogent definition of antisemitism, but has instead given into the shameless politicization of the very subject that it was originally esteemed for being reliable on,” wrote a Wikipedia editor known as Iskandar323.

The ADL responded to Wikipedia, calling its decision a ”campaign to delegitimize the ADL” and quipped, that "apparently facts no longer matter.”

“This is a sad development for research and education, but ADL will not be daunted in our age-old fight against antisemitism and all forms of hate,” said the ADL statement.

Since Jonathan Greenblatt took the helm of the ADL in 2015, the organization has become known "more as a left-leaning pressure group than a non-partisan anti-Semitism watchdog".

In fact, the ADL under Greenblatt's leadership removed the words “anti-Semitism” from the mission statement.

The ADL even backs the Black Lives Matter movement, despite the fact that multiple chapters issued statements standing in solidarity with Hamas terrorists in the aftermath of the horrific attacks on Israel in October.

So it should probably not come as a surprise that Wikipedia no longer considers ADL a reliable source.
