Yale Xiao is a powerful mover and shaker in the Chinese community. Political Candidates without his blessing, don’t win or stand a chance. For a select few, Yale Xiao goes all out as a Chinese Campaign Manager, whether or not it was an official title. He was critical to the election wins of Brad Raffensperger, as well as Jay Lin, a trusted colleague/advisor of Governor Kemp, currently serving on the Georgia State Properties Commission. Jay Lin was also appointed to Governor Kemp's transition team. Jay Lin hosted the Dominion Voting Machine Demos on behalf of the GA SoS office. He also praised Justice Ginsberg in a Facebook post.
Both Brad Raffensperger and Jay Lin launched their political careers serving on the Johns Creek City Council. Landmark Communications, (Mark Rountree & Jordan Fuchs) were also critical to both their campaigns. Yale Xiao focused on the Asian communities for votes.
Yale Xiao vigorously supported Biden in the Nov 2020 election and strongly dislikes President Trump. He campaigned for Democrats to turn the U.S. Senate Blue.
According to his son, Yale Xiao was in the ’81 class at Tsinghua University. Xi Jinping graduated in ’79. Yale Xiao is on the Board for the Tsinghua University Alumni Assoc. His wife Yuansheng Chen, also attended Tsinghua University.
The children of Yale Xiao - Karen Xiao and Willy Xiao, both attended Harvard at the same time as Xi Jinping’s daughter, Xi Mingze.
In 2015, Willy wrote an article for the Harvard Independent boasting about his parents Tsinghua classmates political connections to upper ranks of the Politburo Chinese Communist Government.
Below are excerpts from an atlanta.americachineselife article.
“Xiao Yu has lived in Jones Creek, Georgia (Johns Creek) for 23 years. As a registered Republican, he has actively participated in Republican activities and helped Republicans run for office. In early 2015, he volunteered to encourage and lead the Chinese in the election for the 50th District of the Georgia House of Representatives, helping Brad Raffensperger win the reelection by more than 100 votes, after he was 26 votes behind. Raffensperger has now become Georgia's Secretary of State.”
“In the same year, Xiao Yu served as the official campaign director for the city council election. After eight months of primary and secondary elections, he helped a Republican Taiwanese candidate win and became the first Chinese-American city councilor in the county.
... this year, not only is he (Yale Xiao) supporting Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential election, he is also actively organizing Chinese groups to help Democrats run for Senate.”
“If the Democratic Party can win, it will lay the foundation for the Biden administration to govern powerfully and effectively.” - atlanta.americachineselife.com
