So much for taking a home-grown approach to addressing "antisemitism and hate speech" by Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo's new Thought Police Committee.
The very first thing the Thought Police did, in conjunction with the Greenwich PTA Council (PTAC), was outsource antisemitism and hate speech training to the left-leaning Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
We said the Thought Police sounded like a Democrat plan in March when we pointed out how Joe Biden’s White House rolled out a hate toolkit that recommended communities form coalitions to counter "acts of hate” and organize efforts to report hate crimes.
The White House guide specifically recommended using ADL resources to help identify slurs, biased language and hate speech.
Guess the Republican First Selectman and his Thought Police committee must have liked what the Biden White House said because they followed the advice to a 'T' starting with today's ADL training session.
As we anticipated, the training featured ADL's “Pyramid of Hate” which illustrates the alleged "prevalence" of bias, hate and oppression in American society.
It assumes that bias at each level of the pyramid reflects a "system of oppression" that negatively impacts individuals, institutions and society. The “hate” reflected in the pyramid ranges from stereotyping to non-inclusive language, microaggressions and more. The pyramid reflects the ADL's belief that the U.S. is a hopelessly, systemically racist country.
The ADL trainer, Erika Brunwasser, cautioned that "it's a slippery slope" if you do nothing about biased attitudes and acts of bias because they will eventually lead to "genocide."
Brunwasser briefly mentioned LGBTQ+ hate, racism and white supremacy, and highlighted three alleged white supremacist groups operating in Connecticut, including Nationalist Social Club (NSC), Goyim Defense League (GDL) and White Lives Matter (WLM).
Brunwasser also talked about the rising levels of antisemitism seen on college campuses all across the state and country, and specifically mentioned the Gaza solidarity encampments at Yale and UConn.
However, she did not at all mention how DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) and CRT (critical race theory) have directly contributed to the rise in antisemitism on college campuses.
How you might wonder?
Well, DEI programs teach the tenets of CRT which include dividing the world into two classes, the oppressed and the oppressors, then you are urged to seek social justice for the oppressed.
Palestine is considered to be the oppressed and Israel is the oppressor according to this ideology, so that's why social justice warriors are chanting for a free Palestine "from the river to the sea" even though many of them don't realize the phrase implies the eradication of Israel.
By they way, the ADL offers a DEI program that teaches students to "understand aspects of their own identity and their relationship to systems of bias and oppression"... and to "contribute to a more diverse, equitable and inclusive" community.
Here's another issue that wasn't addressed during the training.
If "White Lives Matter" is a hate group according to ADL, why isn't Black Lives Matter (BLM) considered a hate group, especially since its founder, Patrice Cullors, called for the end of Israel in 2015?
(Note: We're of the belief that all lives matter and support neither "WLM" or "BLM".)
In fact, Cullors traveled to Palestine with Dream Defenders, a revolutionary organization that wants to end capitalism in the U.S. and replace it with a socialist system, so she could connect with activists "living under Israeli occupation" and "build real relationships with those on the ground leading the fight for liberation.”
“So many parallels exist between how the US polices, incarcerates, and perpetuates violence on the black community and how the Zionist state that exists in Israel perpetuates the same on Palestinians,” said Cullors travel companion, community organizer Cherrell Brown, who admittedly wants to dismantle the "white-supremacist patriarchal and capitalist society" in the U.S.
During her trip Cullors even met with the folks from the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS), the same movement that is being glorified by green tent-dwelling activists on college campuses everywhere.
Did you realize that's how BLM got its start?
Does the disgusting image put out by BLM Chicago after October 7th make more sense now?
Of course, BLM is an essential part of the democrat ground army.
So you're supposed to forget the inconvenient details about BLM's founding and its ties to the Dream Defenders, a group that supports critical race theory, transformative justice, and has called for "a world without prisons, policing, surveillance, and punishment."
Similarly, the ADL is an essential part of the democrat ground army, especially since former Obama staffer Jonathan Greenblatt assumed control in 2015, coincidentally the same year Cullors and the Dream Defenders visited Palestine.
Greenblatt has worked to broaden ADL's mission to fight for other left wing "civil rights" movements, including immigration reform, LGBTQ+ rights (including trans sports), abortion with no limits, and even reducing the number of people in jails by letting criminals avoid prosecution and limiting mandatory minimum sentences... coincidentally just like the Dream Defenders.
Like we said, you're supposed to ignore the hypocrisy over ADL's support for BLM and other progressive causes.
Instead, the ADL wants you to focus on "school climate" and the ADL's approach to "anti-bias learning" which sounds a whole lot like critical race theory and cultural marxism.
But be careful if you complain about "cultural marxism" because ADL considers it a hateful term "used typically by right-wing ideologues to attack an array of ideas and concepts they oppose, including multiculturalism, globalism, feminism and LGBTQ+ rights, among others."
Another hateful term in the ADL's glossary is "Parents' Rights Movement" which is described as a "right wing" movement full of "extremists" more commonly known as caring parents.
The ADL also seems opposed to Trump and conservatives in general... which leads us to an important question.
Why would a Republican First Selectman want to outsource training of any kind to a left-wing group that frequently attacks conservatives?
It's not a very Republican thing to do, is it?
Horrifying! Camillo has proven to me over the past year that he’s not a Republican. He’s a sellout and an opportunist with squishy values. Shameful…Greenwich continues to move further left with every new policy/committee.
"Left-leaning?" The ADL has long been just another PR arm of the Democrat party, like the NAACP and The Audobon Society.
What about hatred against traditional Americans? Trump supporters and traditional Catholics too

I didn't like the idea of a "thought police committee" when I first heard of it and liked it even less when I saw who were named to the committee. I am not sure what has happened to Fred Camillo or perhaps his true stripes are starting to appear. When he publicly attacked Republican Town Committee leaders as "disgusting" in an article in the Greenwich Time earlier this year, I was shocked and dismayed. Suffice it to say, "uniparty" Fred will no longer receive my vote or money.
Oh, look… the same tiny little hat people who control/push pornography, the mainstream media, pedowood, and degeneracy, are the same people who push DEI and Marxism.
Remind me again what ethnicity Karl Marx and the bolsheviks were?
