The Republican Primary in Connecticut will be held on August 13. Voters in Fairfield County will choose between two candidates, Dr. Michael Goldstein and Bob MacGuffie. Connecticut voting laws have changed so that it is possible to vote up to five days before Election Day. However, to save money, most towns are only allowing voting at their town halls before Election Day whereas on Election Day, voters will vote at the same precinct where they usually vote.
Republican voters will also have a choice between Matt Corey and Gerry Smith for the US Senate nomination.
Eligible voters. Please remember to vote.
The Connecticut Federation of Young Republicans is part of the national Young Republicans group that has been influential in producing many Republicans in present leadership positions.
