The US Supreme Court announced more huge decisions, this time in the Department of Education v. Brown and Biden v. Nebraska, where it put an end to Biden's plan to forgive student loans.

The High Court said that the respondents lacked Article III standing to assert a procedural challenge to the student-loan debt-forgiveness plan that was adopted by the Secretary of Education pursuant to Higher Education Relief Opportunities for Students Act of 2003 (known as the HEROES Act).

The plan would have allowed eligible borrowers to cancel up to $20,000 in debt and would have cost taxpayers more than $400 billion!

Of course, the proposal was especially important to Biden for political reasons, as this was a key pledge he used to energize younger voters in 2020.

How many students voted for Biden just because they thought he would forgive all of their college debt?

Meanwhile, US House Rep. Rosa DeLauro (CT) immediately took to Twitter to express dismay over the latest SCOTUS ruling.

Of course, most reasonable people are relieved that they do not have to foot the bill for other people's children to go to college.

Well Biden lied to you kids! He did it to get your sorry ass vote! He knew it was unconstitutional when he promised you! Congress has the "power of the purse" not the President or the Senate! You borrowed the money now pay it back! You let the Universities talk you into it with promises they new were wrong. Make them lower the tuition for these left wing institutions! I worked 56 hours a week at my primary job, 20 hours on the weekend pumping gas, and school 3 nights a week for 5 years.
