Anti-Israel squad member Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is wishing her Jewish neighbors from Michigan and beyond a Happy Hanukkah.
Except nobody believes she's sincere, and everyone assumes that a staffer posted the message.
Especially since Tlaib tried to defend the Palestinian saying, "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," which she claimed was an "aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction or hate."
Yeah, right.
She was censured by the House in November over her anti-Israel rhetoric.
Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Ill., the lone Democrat who voted with Republicans to advance the censure resolution on Tlaib last month said he believed it was important to debate the slogan “from the river to the sea.”
“It is nothing else but the call for the destruction of Israel and murder of Jews,” the Jewish Democrat said. “I will always defend the right to free speech. Tlaib has the right to say whatever she wants.”
He added, “But it cannot go unanswered.”
Tlaib was trashed on social media for the "disingenuous and hollow" Hanukkah sentiment.
