UPDATE 9/5/23 1600 est: The checks were originally produced to pay legal bills but were 'white washed' (had the payee whited out) or fraudulently endorsed, according to firm management.

On August 24th, a Project Veritas accountant filed a police report with the Village of Mamaroneck, NY.

The complaint alleges 3 checks were fraudulently written and cashed, totaling approximately $40,000.

The checks were written and cashed after James O'Keefe was terminated on May 15th, according to firm management.

Project Veritas officials, upon being asked for comment, declared the activity has possibly been happening for some time, since 2022 or earlier.
