Sen. Chris Murphy Refused To Answer Our Questions At His Town Hall—He Just Walked Away!

But perhaps the real highlight of the evening took place outside the bathrooms... seriously, wait till you see the video, you just can't make this stuff up!

Senator Chris Murphy (3/30/25)

We were very excited to get a ticket to Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy's popular Town Hall in Stamford at Westhill High School on Friday night.

As soon as we rolled into the parking lot, we saw Palin Smith, who runs the Connecticut for Trump on Facebook, setting up some signs to greet Murphy and chatting up people in line. Palin is hoping to put enough pressure on Murphy to get him to resign within two years.

Of course, it might be an uphill battle, but Palin is optimistic... even though it's clear that many of the people attending last night's Town Hall were deep in the throes of TDS, including one man, allegedly a retired Navy captain, who ripped Palin's signs out of the ground without provocation, and threw them into a pile in a fit of rage.

It's a good thing we arrived early because the place was absolutely packed -- to his credit Murphy really knows how to fill a room!

The event was posted in the Indivisible Facebook group on Tuesday—four days before the Town Hall—and it wasn't even advertised, according to Murphy, except via an email just to those who have contacted his office.

He claimed 1,200 people registered for the event in 24 hours and, from what we could tell, at least 800-1,000 showed up, including a new MAGA friend we met while waiting in line, as well as reps from Indivisible with stacks of flyers for their next protest.

The format of the Town Hall was similar to that of Congressman Jim Himes' Town Hall last week, the one where Himes demonstrated what we thought were really masterful gaslighting skills.

But after seeing Murphy in action, we couldn't help but think Himes paled in comparison.

Maybe Himes could score some lessons on the finer points of Murphlighting from Murphy himself? Or perhaps from his Soros-funded girlfriend, who sure knows a thing or two about whipping up a media narrative?

At any rate we really have to hand it to Murphy -- the guy is masterful at working the crowd, first making them feel good about being part of the "miracle" of American "democracy" and then leaning into their shared "fear" of the current administration.

He said there were two main things, in his view, going on right now.

The first thing is the alleged transition of this country into an "oligarchy" where only a "handful of rich, money connected elites rule and they organize governments to effectively steal from the people."

Then Murphy scared the audience into thinking Trump was going to steal from them through a "real time transfer from you, from us, from the poorest and most vulnerable members of our community, to the wealthy." He emphasized that this "theft" was proof the country was becoming an oligarchy under Trump, while the audience nodded in agreement.

"I am deeply worried every single day about the things that are happening to our democracy," said Murphy, laying it on thick for an audience all too eager to lap it up.

"Whether it be the first, most unconscionable act, the endorsement of political violence at scale," Murphy continued. "The idea that if you commit violence in the name of President Trump, you will never pay a price for it. The pardoning of all those protestors, whether it be the way in which federal agencies are being used to target people who dissent, the FCC going after radio stations owned by democrats, the way that the US Attorney in DC is threatening to lock up people simply because they 'interfere' with Elon Musk's operations at DOGE, to the targeted attempts to harass law firms that represent democrats."

He believes if he gets 3% of the country mobilized, the democrats will be able to save "their democracy" -- that means not thousands of people, but hundreds of thousands of people would need to hit the streets.

He also believes the key to saving "their democracy" is the legal system.

He touched on the nonstop lawfare waged by democrats who feel the Administration's actions are "unconstitutional" but cautioned it's not yet a "five-alarm constitutional crisis" which he would define as Trump disobeying a Supreme Court order.

The second thing he brought up was how Kamala made the "tentpole of her closing campaign a defense of democracy" which Murphy said made sense considering how much of a threat Trump is to "their democracy".

"But it made it feel as if our party was defending the existing version of democracy, right, which is not a great version of democracy because it has been working for the elites, for people with lots of influence and money, and it hasn't been frankly working very well for regular people," Murphy said. "We've got to recognize that this government cannot be the government that ultimately rules. We have to be a party of reform."

He said the democrat party needs to get back to being "for" something, like "getting private sector money completely out of politics."

Murphy concluded that their "democracy" is worth fighting for -- a rousing speech if you fell for the propaganda and lies, that is.

His remarks were carefully crafted to rally the troops to mobilize a massive turnout for the April 5th "Hands Off" action, which is also being heavily marketed by communists in CT People's World. Being on the same side as communists is never a good thing, but they don't call this state "Commie-necticut" for nothing!

Murphy opened the floor to questions, and two long lines quickly formed in the aisles.

Greenwich Patriots founder, Jackie Homan, got up to ask a question on behalf of a group of Patriots, and scored a spot right near the front of the line.

"Trump signed an executive order on protecting election integrity, and I thought that seemed particularly important in Connecticut, considering Wanda Pataky and her crew in Bridgeport had 150 election related charges filed against them," Homan said.

"Common sense measures have already been taken in more than 70 countries around the world, including ensuring that only citizens vote by requiring photo ID," Homan continued. "You’ve previously suggested that photo ID laws are nothing more than 'attempts to infringe on voting rights.'  I find that statement confusing, since photo ID laws do not infringe on peoples’ ability to buy alcohol or weed in Connecticut or ..."

The loud shouting muffled Homan's comments when she pointed out Murphy said photo ID infringes on voting rights. Murphy did ask the crowd to be respectful so Homan could finish, but the angry crowd just kept shouting "hurry up!"

"In 2024, you were endorsed by the Working Families Party, and it had a questionnaire that included a question about whether you supported non-citizen voting in local elections and extending HUSKY to all illegals," Homan continued, again getting drowned out by the angry crowd. "In 2024, you also said that the people you care about most were 'undocumented Americans' -- these are people that broke the law to come here and cost taxpayers in Connecticut at least $1.3 billion dollars."

The crowd couldn't stop shouting at Homan as she asked two questions:

  1. Why do you care more about illegal immigrants than US citizens?
  2. What is your title in the color revolution being funded by your buddy Alex and his dad, George Soros?

Murphy just turned around and walked to the other side of the room to take the next question. He wouldn't even dignify our questions with a response!

And, like clockwork, Greenwich Patriots started receiving hate mail because of Homan's questions, like this gem from someone using the name "Walter Young."

Next up, coincidentally, was the MAGA guy we met while waiting in line.

The crowd absolutely hated his question -- even more than they hated our question -- it was really wild!

His question started off with an observation about the bathrooms outside the auditorium, which were labeled "gender neutral" and a source of confusion to pretty much everyone -- more on that later.

Our MAGA friend, who used to be a democrat, proceeded to grill Murphy about why the democrat party wants to indoctrinate children, before getting cut off by the angry crowd.

"Your party preys upon impressionable children to indoctrinate them into your insane ideology," the man explained, frustrated about why democrats want to confuse children by letting girls think they're boys and boys think they're girls.

"You silence the opposing side because you have no argument," the man said, calling his former comrades "pathetic cowards" as the crowd got even more rowdy. Then he asked Murphy what he's going to do "to protect the children of this country from child abusers."

"We have nothing to fear from transgender and gay children in this community," responded Murphy to thunderous applause. "I refuse to live in a world in which we are told to believe the biggest threats that we face are non-binary, transgender kids, drag shows... this is all an attempt to distract us."

"When the elites are trying to capture government for themselves, right, what do they try to do? They try to turn us against each other. They try to make us believe that the biggest threats we face are our neighbors, our children based upon their sexual orientation, our immigrants who are coming to this country just to seek a better life, or Muslims who practice a religion that is different from the one that founded this country. It's all an attempt to make us scared," he continued.

Before we left we could hear Murphy encouraging everyone in the room to join a local activist group, whether it's 203 Action or Indivisible or MarchOn.

Murphy also explained how he was continuing to raise money because somebody has to fund the color revolution after Trump turned off the spigot to all those NGOs like USAID.

"None of this stuff happens without resources," Murphy explained. "The problem we have is that Republicans have a permanent, paid for mobilization infrastructure in this country and a message infrastructure -- democrats don't -- so we actually both have to turn out people and raise money so that we can be able to fund the mobilization campaign..."

We weren't exaggerating when we said Murphy was even better at gaslighting than Himes was, were we???

And now back to what happened outside the bathroom.

We'll just drop this video right here.

We encourage you to watch it to the end, and then read the article about it written by our friend Jonathan Goldstein, When Is A Gender Neutral Bathroom Not Neutral?

Fantastic article, even more fantastic is how disturbing it is becoming to live and raise children in this state esp w/ reps like Chris Murphy who accuses those he disagrees with of being the "fascists" & "haters" as he himself is an example of a hater suggesting organizing groups of "Trump Derangement Syndrome" supporters to fight 4 indoctrination or our children confusing them regarding "gender" see the video where adults are clearly confused what restroom) supports illegals over citizens.

Was the city reimbursed for renting the venue for this highly partisan event, which was held at a public school?
