Connecticut Bill SJ35 is a slap in the face to girls and women’s sports. It is purely a woke unconstitutional attempt for liberal leaders in Connecticut who suffer from the mental illness called “Trump Derangement Syndrome” to attempt to re-write not just the Constitution of Connecticut, but to attempt to re-write the well established science of biology. Biology tells us that there are two sexes, male and female. This is a scientific fact, irrelevant of politics or recent trends attempting to corrupt and re-establish that which nature has long defined.
To make the argument that those who experience a psychological abnormality that is well defined in the DSM-5 are to be elevated to a status that disturbs others basic rights violates the basic tenets of our civil rights laws in this country.
Gender Dysphoria in the DSM-5 is defined as “a disorder defined as a significant and persistent incongruence between an individual's experienced or expressed gender and their sex assigned at birth.”
When have we ever allowed there to be a “protected class” of persons to transcend and replace the “normal order” of basic undisputed norms ie there are 2 sexes, male and female.
Bill SJ35 attempts to subvert both biological scientific fact and destroy women’s rights to compete in sports competitively as their own “protected class”.
The majority of humans do not suffer from “gender dysphoria” and though it is unfortunate that some individuals do meet the description of this disorder, this diagnosis for them should not rise to the level of contradicting biology, or allow for discrimination against the female sex in women’s sporting competition.
Normalizing a psychological disorder to achieve a political agenda is harmful and disturbing to the natural order of things. Trying to amend a constitution to achieve a goal that harms the rights of others is therefore “unconstitutional” on its face and upends the long observed understandings of civilized society.
This bill SJ35 has been debated over its journey through committees, etc. Several have spoken to how it has “harmed” the rights of girls and women in competition along with harm caused in general by this normalizing of the facts of biology.
This recent cultural phenomenon that drives the indoctrination of children into the belief that it is not a “disorder” to feel uncomfortable as the sex assigned at birth is a product of those who are willing to use children as “pawns” to further a movement hell-bent on the destruction of the very elements that define “the laws of nature”. A disturbing “cult” mentality that seeks to challenge what is indisputable to disrupt the core principles long embodied by not just science but include religion, tradition and patriotism.
It is the continued push toward distraction from reality, a political agenda that wishes to distract our youth from noticing the theft at the hands of those in power before them. It is like wolves in sheep’s clothing using others misery to increase their own power and wealth.
Connecticut voters need to wake up and organize against the Democratic cult that has taken over this state and has been leading it into permanent demise, day by day and year by year. A very powerful and corrupt force that is attempting to take away the rights of female athletes and also use those suffering from mental illness as pawns, subjecting them to horrific trauma and mutilation in the name of “gender affirming care” a tragic phrase that purports to “normalize” and “market” the misery of children who are suffering untreated among us. You cannot legitimize this evil. You cannot hide from its blatant in you face existence and normalization. It is child abuse and an abomination.
Politics is a dirty and evil game of usury in general, but these tactics employed by Connecticut’s Democratic legislators in power is beyond the norm and has become intolerable. How do you fight those deranged leaders in power who subject others to crimes against nature and humanity? You speak up loudly and you unite with other like minded people to do something about it.
The latest on this bill is that the last committee after public health, government administration has voted it favorable moving this atrocity further on the way to law in CT.
