In one of the stronger reactions to the SCOTUS ruling today, CT. Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz accused the Supreme Court of "dismantling" decades of settled law and derailing years of progress by ending the practice of admitting students based on the color of their skin, rather than on their character, diligence, intelligence, and capabilities.

"Racism and discrimination remain rampant in our country, "Bysiewicz alleged. "It is incumbent on us all to promote diversity, inclusion – and equitable access to opportunity." Except apparently to Asian students, it seems.

She also promised that Connecticut colleges and universities would continue to practice "inclusion" and "equity" -- terms that have been hijacked by progressives to permit reverse racism in the name of "anti-racism" -- and that the Lamont administration, along with its legislative and agency partners, is committed to addressing systemic racism.

Just want Connecticut needs. More DEI to combat perceived systemic racism.

Bysiewicz didn't find support for her comments on Twitter, as most people recognize that decisions made based upon the color of your skin are more or less the definition of racist. Instead, people celebrated today's SOCTUS decision as the victory it rightfully is, finally bringing an end to discrimination in college admissions.
