Around 125 protesters, mostly seniors, gathered at the Stamford Government Center on Thursday, July 17th, to join their comrades across the state and country in solidarity for yet another national branded protest, "Good Trouble Lives On," named in honor of civil rights leader, Congressman John Lewis.

The national protest was backed by nearly 100 progressive organizations, such as Indivisible (though the Greenwich chapter skipped out), the 50501 Movement, the League of Women Voters, Working Families (the same group that backed communist Zohran Mamdani for NYC Mayor), and a host of labor and education unions, including the NEA which operates a chapter in Greenwich.
Indivisible Stamford organized the action outside the Government Center on Thursday, where a handful of speakers offered gripes about the Trump Administration after hearing a lovely singer belt out some civil rights music to get people in the mood.

An organizer from the CT Civil Liberties Defense Committee invited everyone at the protest to join a Stamford Community Meeting all about the "horrible ICE raids on immigrant communities" and much more.

The main speaker, State Treasurer Eric Russell, really wants people to "commit to the work" to create a "democracy" where "everyone can thrive, where everyone is respected, where everyone’s rights are protected, no matter what you look like or where you’re from or who you love."
Translation?
He's down with illegal immigration, and has absolutely no issue with biological males pummeling biological females in women's sports and entering private, personal spaces meant for biological women only.

Meanwhile, the 50501 Movement is already lining up for its next action on August 2nd, when they plan to "rage against the regime" and "dare to fight against fascism" with yet another astroturfed protest.

After they "rage" a little bit in August, it looks like the 50501 Movement is planning to join "The General Strike" -- a "decentralized network of people and organizations committed to striking" once they "reach 3.5% of the U.S. population, or 11 million people."
As of July 19th, General Strike has collected signed "strike cards" from 368,323 people.

This is not the first time that 50501 has partnered with General Strike.
General Strike's Connecticut Chapter has previously partnered with Indivisible Connecticut, 50501 Connecticut, Collective Action CT, and others for protests.
By the way, 50501 Connecticut, which is promoting The General Strike, is followed on Blue Sky by State Senate Deputy Majority Leader Matt Lesser, as well as the Connecticut Dems.
The thing is, though, the General Strike movement appears to be run by straight up communists who aren't afraid to show their hatred of capitalism...
And their hatred of America, which they say was built on "genocide and slavery" by "racist" founding fathers who "stole indigenous land"...
And even their hatred of policing, which they say "originates from runaway slave patrols."

The General Strikers think all they need to do is inform people about the "evils" of our current capitalist reality with all of those "intersecting oppressions," tell them they have the power to change it, and then people will reject capitalism to demonstrate solidarity with the communist struggle for "true liberation, self determination and equity."
Oh boy, communist utopia, here we come!

But it's not just any old communist utopia the General Strikers are after -- they are after a "more equitable future" as can only be provided under "anarchist communism."
That means a "stateless, classless society where all property is collectively owned and managed by the community" but which "rejects hierarchical authority and state power."
So no private property, and anarchy rules -- what could possibly go wrong?!?

It's worth adding that the General Strike crew appears to be a bit more edgy than the usual boomers we've seen at the protests so far this year.
These are the guys that send folks to prepare for "direct action" against ICE in places like Los Angeles.

Which brings us back to the fact that the Connecticut Democrats follow this group on Blue Sky, leading us to wonder exactly how many Connecticut Democrats support this anarcho-communist agenda.

Just imagine what a case-load these nutjobs place on government mental-health services.
Anarchist communism is an oxymoron. No authority/total authority. These people are so gullible. And, they will not change. It is their religion, and defies all logic. There is no critical thinking among this group, except by their malevolent leaders.
Delusional,ignorant,IDIOTS..I'll guaurontee none of them has ever even been to a communist country. They should all move to one,China,N Korea,Cuba.Their response??Oh no those places are terrible.
How are people this dumb?
Every time you think the democrats can’t be more low IQ corrupt and cluless they form another group to prove they can.
These people should be made to watch the news clips from Russia with their Government run stores in the 60's. Block long lines and nothing in the store shelfs! This just might get their heads out of their Arse but I doubt it. Do some research PEOPLE!
