The 12th Annual "Pride In The Park" is taking place in Norwalk's Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, June 13th from 2pm until 8pm. It's the second largest pride festival in the state.
The official tourism website for Connecticut, CTVisit.com, describes the event as "Fairfield County’s family-friendly LGBTQ Pride festival" that's "filled with entertainers and diverse local performers.”
The Triangle Community Center (TCC), which sponsors the event, wants you to know that children are welcome at this event. They even feature a young child holding a pride flag front and center on the website.

In the 2026 Pride Guide, TCC features a listing of its programs and events for the LGBTQ+ community, including "virtual and physical spaces for youth and young adults ages 8-24 to access resources, connect socially, and embrace their authentic selves."
For instance, students in grades 8-12 can join the Sex Ed Book Club, which is held in partnership with the Norwalk Library and Planned Parenthood. There's a Gender Affirming Closet open to anyone of any age. The Pride + Joy club connects LGBTQIA+ parents, caregivers, and those forming their families with social events like Drag Story Hour. And there's even a club for children aged 12 and up to learn how to become activists from a pair of individuals who use "she/they" pronouns.

There are two hosts for 2026 Pride in the Park: Will Beauty (below, left), the self-described "seven foot giraffe beauty of Connecticut," and Angelina Fierce (below, right), aka the "Latin Doll" who boasts about the "Fierce Fantasy House of of Fierce" in his Instagram profile.

Headline performers include Detox, Roxxxy Andrews, and Robin Fierce -- all drag queens who have been featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race, and are known for highly sexualized performances.
Again, the pride festival takes place in a public park and is officially promoted as family-friendly and suitable for children of “all-ages.”

But those are not the only performers. More than a dozen others are scheduled, including:

For undoubtedly "family-friendly" performances... just like at Wilton's Pride Festival.
By the way, the sponsor of Pride in the Park — the Triangle Community Center — received special funding last year after Democrats used what State Sen. Rob Sampson called a “corrupt earmark process” to “plug funding gap” potentially “created” by the Trump Administration.
