We sent the following email to Greenwich Superintendent Toni Jones after the statement released today by Brad Wenstrup, Chair of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, that indicated, "the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans ‘sort of just appeared’ and were likely not based on scientific data."

Dear Superintendent Jones,
The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic just released a statement after two days of testimony from Dr. Fauci which revealed, among other things, that social distancing was never scientific, a claim that parents repeatedly made in BOE meetings to jeers from many.
I thought you might want to know the truth, which is that Dr. Fauci himself said that the rules "sort of just appeared" and were likely "not based on scientific data".
Go figure.
Think about all of those children who were forced to sit on the freezing cold ground outside to eat their lunches when they should have been dining inside a warm cafeteria like normal human beings.
Think about all of the stupid duct tape lines and blatant propaganda, like social distancing welcome mats, that signaled to children to be fearful of getting too close to their own friends, classmates and teachers.
What a shame!
Parents tried to warn you so many times, but no one would listen.
What do you think the psychological impact was from all of that propaganda foisted upon students anyway?
Sincerely,
xxx
