A lawsuit filed Wednesday against the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is being described as “one of the most important lawsuits in medical history.”
“This major lawsuit has been filed in federal court against one of the most powerful medical organizations in the United States, the American Academy of Pediatrics or AAP,” explains pediatrician Dr. K. Paul Stoller in a short video about the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.
In the video, Stoller – one of a number of plaintiffs in the case – highlights that the lawsuit claims “something extraordinary: that the American Academy of Pediatrics has engaged in a decades-long pattern of fraud comparable to the tobacco industry’s historic deception about smoking risks.”
Both Stoller and pediatrician Dr. Paul Thomas, another plaintiff, assert they experienced harm to their professional reputations as a result of their opposition to AAP guidelines.
These doctors are joined in bringing the lawsuit by Children’s Health Defense (CHD), founded by now-Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and the parents of four children who either died or experienced injuries after receiving routine childhood vaccines.
Stoller explains in the video that the lawsuit against AAP amounts to “a civil RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] case.”
That law, he continues, is “designed to address coordinated long-term schemes involving fraud, even when the conduct appears legal.”
“On the surface, Dr. Thomas and I allege that AAP worked in coordination with pharmaceutical manufacturers and allied institutions to promote the claim that the childhood vaccine schedule is fully tested and safe while concealing material facts that undermine that claim,” Stoller asserts, but emphasizes that the case is not about a claim of malpractice.
“It is not about individual doctors harming patients,” he notes. “It is about institutional representations, omissions, conflicts of interest, and alleged fraud. Alleged.”
“The lawsuit repeatedly focuses on one core claim made by AAP that the entire childhood vaccine schedule has been carefully studied, fully tested, and proven safe as a whole,” Stoller continues. “This statement is materially misleading.”
Pointing to reports from the National Academies of Medicine, formerly the Institute of Medicine, that acknowledge the “long-term effects of the cumulative vaccine schedule have not been conducted,” the pediatrician notes the complaint “argues that individual vaccines may be tested in isolation, but the combined schedule, dozens of vaccines given in early childhood, has never undergone controlled cumulative safety testing.”
Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that AAP continues to present itself as “a trusted authority, issuing policy statements and educational materials while receiving substantial funding from vaccine manufacturers and allegedly suppressing dissent within pediatrics.”

AAP lists as its “current partners” multiple pharmaceutical companies that provide funding at $50,000 and above, qualifying them for participation in their “President’s Circle.”
“Through an annual membership contribution to the Fund, these companies are invited to a Corporate Summit held each summer at the AAP National Headquarters in Itasca, IL.,” AAP states on its website.
Other pharmaceutical corporations are listed as “patrons” of AAP for donations of between $25,000 and $49,999.
The plaintiffs, Stoller explains, also argue that AAP’s practice of holding itself up as an authority on child vaccines has translated into pediatrics practices depending “heavily on vaccines for revenue,” a system that even involves “insurer bonuses tied to immunization targets, and mandatory well-child visit schedules.”
“The plaintiffs argue that AAP’s policies directly protect this business model while discouraging exemptions, promoting patient dismissal for vaccine refusal, and embedding its guidance into certification and insurance systems,” a practice, they assert, that is coercive.
“For too long, the AAP has been held up on a pedestal, as if it were a font of science and integrity,” CHD CEO Mary Holland said in a statement. “Sadly, that’s not the case.”
She argued that AAP “is a front operation in a racketeering scheme involving Big Pharma, Big Medicine and Big Media, ready at every turn to put profits above children’s health.”
The lawsuit is being hailed as a tremendous medical milestone.
“This lawsuit, drafted by California attorney Rick Jaffe, is without exaggeration, one of the most important lawsuits ever filed in modern medical history,” Steve Kirsch, founder of the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation, wrote Wednesday at his Substack column.
Kirsch added that the case “is essentially exposing to the world that the emperor (the AAP) has no clothes (‘scientific evidence’),” and that it “marks the first serious legal challenge to the AAP’s long-standing public claims and forces them into formal evidentiary review.”
The lawsuit came one day after AAP and their medical allies expanded a federal lawsuit, initially brought against HHS in July, to now reverse the changes the agency made to the childhood vaccine schedule.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) moved earlier this month to reduce the number of scheduled childhood immunizations from 17 to 11.
As The Hill reported, the plaintiffs claim in their amended complaint that the reduction in the number of scheduled child vaccines amounts to the “most egregious, reckless, and dangerous of the actions Defendants have taken to date.”
Additionally, AAP and its allies asked the court to block an upcoming meeting of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) from taking place.

Sorry to say it, but I have come to the belief that the entire current conventional medical systems is DANGEROUS and is to be avoided at all costs. I've just spent 5.5 days at the hospital with my mother and I am just gob-smacked at the one-eyed attitude to so-called "treatment." Most conventional doctors sound completely ALIEN to me! Couldn't get my mum out of there fast enough before they killed her!
