Despite what you might hear in the mainstream media and the latest misinformation-filled Op Ed penned by Beth Krumeich and Leslie Cooper, please know that Greenwich Patriots has not assembled or endorsed a secret slate of candidates for the RTM.
Nor have we orchestrated a stealth MAGA takeover using absentee ballot lists.
That is just fiction.
We have no control over whether people read our newsletter and feel inspired to get involved in Town politics, but we certainly applaud the many residents who have stepped up and are willing to serve our community. It takes a lot of courage to run for public office, especially given the current political environment, so we thank those who have decided to make a run.
That being said, we continue to receive questions about who are the “good” RTM candidates on the November 7th ballot.
Want to know our advice?
Vote out every single one of the 104 RTM members who chose to undermine Greenwich election integrity by accepting ZuckBucks.
In case you aren’t following the latest, ZuckBucks just got banned in Louisiana by a resounding majority of voters (72.6%). The state of Wisconsin also introduced a measure to ban ZuckBucks in September. That means more than half of the country, at least 26 states and 12 counties, have banned outside funding for elections.
It was also revealed last week that the same dark money groups that helped fund ZuckBucks, including Arabella Advisors and New Venture, have also funded an Israeli-designated terrorist group, Samidoun, that just organized a rally in support of the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel.
Greenwich elections should not be associated with a controversial organization that is funded by the same groups that fund terrorists.
It’s just appalling.
Vote them out.
