The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic release shocking allegations from a credible whistleblower today, suggesting that the CIA rewarded six analysts with "significant financial incentives" to change their covid origin story from a lab leak to zoonosis.
The shocking allegations come from a "multi-decade, senior-level" intelligence officer who said that the Agency assigned seven very experienced officers to the Covid Discovery Team. The whistleblower stated that 6 out of 7 members of the Team believed they had sufficient intelligence and science to reach a "low confidence assessment" that covid came from a lab in Wuhan.
The seventh member of the Team disagreed, and believed covid originated through zoonosis.
The whistleblower further alleged that the other six members of the Team were subsequently bribed with significant monetary incentives to change their position.
In response to the shocking allegations, the House Select Subcommittee issued a request to the CIA for documents and information regarding the establishment of the Covid Discovery Team; all communications among Team members, employees or contractors; all communications with other federal agencies; and all documents and communications about financial incentives, performance-based incentives, and bonuses.
