Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó harshly condemned the United States for attempting to exclude Donald Trump from the presidential race.
Szijjártó announced that Hungary will no longer accept any criticism from the United States regarding the state of democracy, citing recent American domestic political developments.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister called on the Biden Administration to refrain from making condescending statements about Hungary’s democracy and institutions. He declared that if the U.S. can disqualify one of the leading presidential candidates, Hungary will not entertain any criticism of its own political system.
Peter Szijjártó praised Donald Trump's role in peace negotiations, particularly in the Middle East, and expressed concerns about the potential consequences of his exclusion from the race. He concluded that it would be detrimental to peace advocates if efforts to exclude the leading presidential candidate in the United States are successful.
