President Donald Trump promised to "end the barbaric, pseudoscientific practice" of "gender-affirming care" for children, which includes the use of "chest binders" that result in pain, scarring, breathing difficulties, rib damage, and fractured ribs for young women, along with puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender-affirming surgeries, more accurately described as "chemical and surgical mutilation."
Fortunately, Trump is winning.
Last week, two Connecticut hospitals -- Connecticut Children's and Yale New Haven -- joined a growing list of hospitals that have announced an end to gender-affirming care for children under 19 in response to the Trump Administration.
Connecticut Children's said it had made the "difficult decision to begin winding down this program for patients under the age of 19" and that it remained "fully committed" to supporting the impacted families.
Dana Marnane, the Director of Communications at Yale New Haven Health, said Yale "made the very difficult decision to modify the pediatric gender program to eliminate the medication treatment component of the gender-affirming program for patients under age 19. This decision was not made lightly."
Yes, Yale said it was "difficult" to stop putting gender confused children on "medication treatments" that are well known to pose serious, often irreversible and life-changing side effects, including sterility, increased risk of heart disease, increased risk of breast and uterus cancers, psychoactive effects, wild mood swings and even psychosis.
And yes, these people are sick, evil and demented to have ever thought even for a minute that, for instance, "kids as young as 3" should be placed on a "gender journey" that would effectively make them lifelong medical patients.
They aren't the only sickos who find it "difficult" to stop harming gender confused children!
Gov. Ned Lamont issued a statement saying it was "disappointing for hospitals in Connecticut to be forced to make a difficult decision" to stop "gender-affirming care."
"These decisions are not based on Connecticut values or Connecticut law—they are part of a series of relentless federal demands that have created fear, confusion, and legal uncertainty for our healthcare providers," said Lamont, promising "not to turn his back" on transgender children, while at the same time claiming it's a "Connecticut value" to knowingly harm gender-confused children.
Connecticut Attorney General William "Lawfare" Tong was angry to see hospitals end "gender-affirming care" for children.
“This is about scaring patients from seeking care and scaring doctors from providing care, regardless of who is harmed and the lives that will be lost,” said Tong, who thus far has declined to investigate the trans activists allegedly linked to the girl's suicide we told you about a month ago. “It’s unconscionably reckless and yet another disturbing intrusion of partisan politics on our private lives and choices.”
State Senator Saud Anwar, the Senate Chair of the Public Health Committee and a physician himself, said it was "extremely disturbing to see the federal government mandate that this care will be ripped from the patients needing and benefitting from it most."
Mind you, this is the same "delusional doctor" who repeatedly lied to you about masks and covid vaccines, and now he's saying "gender-affirming care delivers significant mental health improvements for transgender teens and youth" even though the science does not support that statement.
State Senator Ceci Maher, Senate Chair of the Committee on Children, said she was "disheartened" and "angry" to see "two more casualties of oppressive federal policies" in reference to the two hospitals.
"The Connecticut Children’s and Yale New Haven Health changes come as the Trump administration is increasingly targeting medical programs providing health care and gender-affirming care to teens, such as counseling and hormone therapy," continued Maher, who neglected to mention pesky details like how hormone therapy can sterilize children.
Deputy Majority Leader Matt Lesser was so angry about "denying this care" which he claimed "defies the moral imperative of our medical providers" that he issued a letter to Connecticut Children's warning its decision "endangers" patients and "violates established standards of care."

He even pointed out that Lamont recently signed Public Act 25-154 into law, making it illegal to "knowingly discriminate" against people based on gender identity, and further warned Connecticut Children's not to violate state law.
Pressuring hospitals to provide services that harm children?

State Rep. Kate Farrar promised that "gender-affirming care is legal in Connecticut" and wants to make sure that children "can get the kind of care they deserve."
Does she think that children really deserve to be saddled with lifelong medical problems, like the detransitioner who developed pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence at age 20 after receiving gender-affirming care as a teen?

State Rep. Aimee Berger-Girvalo said she was "beyond disappointed" that the Connecticut hospitals decided to end gender-affirming care, and claimed "denying access to these services not only harms these young individuals but also undermines our commitment to inclusivity, compassion, and evidence-based healthcare in Connecticut."
She added that ending gender care would "gravely impact some of the most vulnerable people among us. And let's just call it what it is - cruelty for the sake of being cruel."
State Rep. Matt Blumenthal, Co-Chair of the Reproductive Rights Caucus, was also upset about the "deeply dispiriting" news, complaining that both hospitals were "compliant" with the medical standards of care in their field... though he doesn't mention how these "standards" have been exposed in the UK's Cass Report or by whistleblowers from the leading transgender medical care association, for instance.

Matty said that the decision to end gender-affirming care for children, which he called a "medically complex and developing field," had absolutely nothing to do with the science -- probably because there is no science to support the barbaric practice on children -- but instead he said it was all about Trump's "illegal bullying" and threats to remove funding.
So rather than investigate all of the facts about gender-affirming care exposed at the Federal Trade Commission's meeting on "The Dangers of “Gender-Affirming Care” for Minors" the other week, he's going to keep fighting for gender-affirming care.
Even the Lyme DTC is getting in on the action, joining Indivisible's call to write to State Representatives and Senators to urge them to "explore legislative avenues" so that the practice of harming children through gender-affirming care can continue unabated in Connecticut.
Laura Boccadoro, the operations director for the Pride Center in New Haven, repeated the myth that it can be "life threatening" not to provide gender-affirming care to teens -- a myth exposed in United States v. Skrmetti when the ACLU's lawyer admitted to Justice Alito that there was no evidence to support the idea that medical transition reduces adolescent suicide rates.
Also repeating the myth that gender-affirming care is life-saving was Matt Blinstrubas, executive director of LGBTQ+ advocacy group Equality Connecticut, the same group where trans activist Tony Ferraiolo worked -- the same Ferriolo who allegedly helped to secretly obtain a chest binder for the Connecticut girl who tragically committed suicide.
Yet Blinstrubas said, “This treatment is life-saving. We know that to be true,” and further cautioned that "when you stop that course of life-saving treatment, any number of adverse effects can happen.”
Melissa Combs, founder of the Out Accountability Project and mother to a 16-year-old receiving gender-affirming care at Yale, said, "There’s anger. There’s a desire to act.... and it’s just another blow.”
And the Children of Marsha P. Johnson ("CMPJ") said they were "outraged and deeply saddened" about the end of gender-affirming care because "trans youth deserve joy" and heck, "trans joy is revolution" so viva la revolución.
All of this outrage has culminated in a call for an "emergency protest in support of Trans Healthcare" in Hartford on Saturday, August 2nd, to coincide with the 50501 movement's "Rage Against the Regime" protest scheduled for the same day.
The emergency protest is being organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation ("PSL"), the folks who got "busy" doing the "work" of trashing LA during protests earlier this summer; the Democratic Socialists of America's Connecticut chapter; Act Up Connecticut; Trans Haven; Healthcare Workers for Palestine-Connecticut; Kamora's Cultural Corner (remember when we met Kamora?); and the New Haven Federation of Teachers, part of the AFT... whose leader just announced a partnership with the World Economic Forum to create a globalist curriculum for American schoolchildren.
What the hell is wrong with these people?
Don't they read the heart-breaking experiences of detransitioners who talk about how they were preyed on by unscrupulous doctors who didn't tell them the truth about this so-called "care"?
Do they hate just children? Are they transhumanists? Do they favor depopulation? Are they bought and paid for by Big Pharma?
Why else would anyone advocate for "care" that is objectively harmful for children?
