As the Centinal reported on October 20, 2025, the Estate of F. Francis D’Addario owed the Town of Easton property taxes dating back to 2009. Nick D’Addario claims to manage properties in Easton and surrounding towns.
The good news – Easton was recently paid $41,742.52.
But something appears to be not exactly truthful or transparent here.
The Town's website now indicates that the taxes were paid on June 30, 2025.
However, the website indicated that the taxes were still NOT paid when we checked on October 20, 2025. Were the payments backdated? Could someone be covering for Nick during election season? Note the last payment for 2024 taxes. Why backdate that to July 10, 2025? The Town was still filing liens for 2023 on June 10, 2025.
We see what you are trying to do.
And the other good news is that we know the Easton Swamp is reading the Centinal.
Congratulations Easton, you have $41,742.52 in the bank, let's just hope it's not an “IOU Ledger holder” or anything.
