I was informed last night that a rumor has been started that the Westport 'Protection of Children' event is a scam. Below is my response.

My name is Todd Wood and I run CDMedia which is helping Christine Dolan with American Conversations put on the Nov 1 event at the Westport Library.
We have been informed there is a rumor going around the event is a scam. I can assure you that is not the case.
What is true is that many in Westport do NOT want you to hear what you are going to be told next Tuesday night. (hence the rumor I suppose)
CDMedia is handling the ticket sales for the event. We have been de-platformed off all the usual online financial platforms several years ago, in addition to 20 other Silicon Valley networks. We are so scary! Therefore, we have to send out confirmations manually, and it looks different than usual for online ticket sales.
Isn't tyranny grand?
You should also know the Westport Library will not put the event on their calendar nor tell people who call about the event (so we have been informed).
Aren't you curious what they don't want you to know?
You should also know the library charged approximately $5k in various fees for the 4 hour event. We also are paying expenses for the out of town panelists. Therefore we had to charge for the event and will most likely not break even, which is fine, as the information to be disseminated is critical for Westport citizens.
I can assure you the event will be explosive and most people in this neck of the woods are unaware of what will be discussed.

I have attended American Conversations in Ga. Christine Dolan is an amazing moderator. I also met Dr. McCollough last Dec at another conference in Ga. This is a do not miss event..
I was blown away by this event. Phenomenal, inspirational speakers. Best $25 I've ever spent.
