For those of you wondering what kind of person would put pornographic content in front of children, the answer is easy: a communist.
In fact, the legendary list of 45 Current Communist Goals from The Naked Communist contains three particular goals that support using the kind of pornographic books that have been found in school and local libraries all across the country as of late:
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

Sound familiar? Didn't Obama just touch on these points in his letter to librarians?
So stop calling them "book bans" when content is challenged for age-appropriateness.
No one is forcing publishers to stop printing this content - that would actually be a book ban.
Instead, recognize that those who want to put pornographic content into the hands of children under the guise of "free speech" are actually spreading the goals of communists. That's what's really going on with the "book ban" issue.
