On October 11, 2023, the Greater Education Council of Connecticut (GESS) sponsored an event on proposed Parental/Transparency Rights legislation at Thimble Island Brewery in Branford.
Concerned citizens from across the State gathered to hear Hank Kopel, former federal prosecutor and Woodbridge resident, summarize proposed Connecticut legislation he constructed by taking the best from existing parental rights statutes in other states and proposed federal legislation.
Inspirational speeches were given by Dr. Armand Fusco (former Superintendent of Schools in Branford), Danele Rhodes (Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism Northern Connecticut Chapter Leader), Cort Wrotnowski (Chairman Greater Education Council of Connecticut), Bob MacGuffie (Republican candidate for the 4th Congressional District in 2024), and State Senator Rob Sampson (Conservative Republican leader in the Connecticut House of Representatives who proposed similar legislation last year).
Rob Sampson has agreed to help us refine and steer this much needed legislation through the difficult process of bringing bills before the Connecticut legislature, and Bob has made Parental Rights a major issue in his campaign. This is a bipartisan issue which everyone should get behind.

The GECC's next gathering will be a campaign event for Bob MacGuffie, a 2023 candidate for U.S. House of Representatives.
Parents rights are God given. School Administrators have no rights over our children. Pull your kids out of these diabolical schools.
We already pulled my granddaughter from the indoctrination factories called the "Guilford Public Schools" and she is thriving with homeschooling. The virtue signaling woke superintendent, Paul Freeman, has no problem pushing a singular ideology in defiance of state law and regulation. And the lazy, bleeting sheep on the BOE just follow his every move.
