The Connecticut arm of the Communist Party is encouraging members to join the "Hands Off" nationwide action on April 5th to oppose "Trump and his billionaire allies" and their plans to cut government waste, fraud and abuse.
“Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. Connecticut is fighting back! They're taking everything they can get their hands on—our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now," the CT People's World announcement says, hoping to rally the troops with their communist propaganda.
Protests have already been scheduled in at least 17 different cities, including: Greenwich, Bethel, Westport, Guilford, Salisbury, New Milford, New London, Stamford, New Haven, Cornwall, Torrington, Newtown, Danbury, Enfield, Warren, Middletown, and, of course, Hartford.
Connecticut Attorney General William Tong and US Congressman Jim Himes plan on joining their communist allies in Greenwich on Saturday morning for the festivities.
Then, as we understand it, Tong will head over to join his comrades from Stamford Indivisible for their rally, which starts at noon in Veterans Park downtown.
It's worth remembering that Tong, who is the first Chinese American AG, developed a tight relationship with the CCP through Ambassador Huang Ping, especially since that 2019 meeting -- in fact the relationship was so tight that Connecticut became the first state to make a deal for PPE from China during the covid plandemic.
At any rate the Stamford folks had the foresight to reserve a free community room at the Government Center for a little poster-making party on Friday from 5:30pm - 7pm, in case anyone is feeling creative.
For the less creative, the thoughtful folks at "Hands Off" have got you covered.
They also have a whole toolkit to make it easy for budding activists and their communist allies to set up their own protest, complete with messaging tips, mobilization tactics and more.
There's even a big "Hands Off" planning call on Tuesday night from 8pm - 9pm EST, which is being sponsored Indivisible, MoveOn, Public Citizen, Stand Up America, and the Not Above the Law Coalition.
There's another call on Wednesday from 8pm - 9pm EST for "De-escalation Training"... can't imagine why they'd need that for a peaceful protest, right?
But the truth is the whole "Hands Off 2025" protest sounds more like the makings of another color revolution, with a very long list of official sponsors—at least 126 so far by our count—including some of our favorite "not for profits" like the League of Women Voters and Planned Parenthood, along with all of the teachers unions, climate activist groups, the "democracy" oriented groups and a handful of other usual suspects.
Many of the "Hands Off" partners are using ActBlue for "fundraising", like Friends of the Earth Action, Move On, People's Action Institute, Rise and Resist, Women's March, Working Families Power, and of course Indivisible -- that's the same ActBlue at the center of all the money laundering allegations currently being investigated by a coalition of 19 GOP attorneys general.
It's also the same ActBlue that Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs wrote about in a March 13th letter to FBI Director Kash Patel in which he alleged the platform had "been used to skirt the integrity of federal campaign finance laws" and also highlighted "allegations of foreign donations through strawmen, specifically originating in China" and other countries.
While we're on the topic of communist China, did you realize that the leaders of Indivisible seem to view their movement as being much like Chairman Mao Zedong's "Hundred Flowers Movement"?
The "Hundred Flowers Movement" emerged when Mao "enticed the snakes out of their lairs” by briefly allowing criticism of the bureaucracy to "flower" in 1957, and once he deemed the criticism had gone too far, he rounded up the critics and detractors by the hundreds of thousands, and shipped them off for execution or re-education through labor.
Is that what we have to look forward to if the communists and their allies “win” the color revolution?

By the way Asra Nomani and the Pearl Project have developed a database to track not only who is funding the Tesla Takedown protests but also who is sponsoring the Hands Off events.
Many of these events are astroturfed -- we saw that ourselves with the Tesla Takedown protests, like that one in Stamford which was actually organized by a woman who lives in New York and nearly all of the attendees came from other towns or states.
If you do decide to go out on Saturday to check out the spectacle, please be careful -- we all know this crowd is not necessarily welcoming and inclusive -- like on Friday night when we got lightly "shoulder checked" by some Indivisible members at Chris Murphy's Town Hall, making it difficult to exit the auditorium.
And considering how much they are amping up the resistance for Saturday, we expect the TDS to be on full display.
