Connecticut State Senator Matt Lesser from the 9th District reportedly has covid.

CT News Junkie is reporting that now visitors, guests and staff will be required to wear a mask while in the common areas of the Capitol third floor, including the galleries.

But masks aren't being required on the first, second or fourth floors.

Of course, the science has already clearly demonstrated that masks do not stop covid, so why the masked theater was brought back to Hartford remains to be seen.

Additionally, people are being asked to take covid tests again, even though these tests are fraught with false positive and false negative results.

It's unclear how long this unscientific masking will remain in effect.
