Fairfield Public Schools Superintendent Michael J. Testani issued a special message regarding an incident that took place when staff met for Convocation to kick off the school year.
"Unfortunately, explicit, and inappropriate language of a sexual nature was displayed within a slideshow by the district's keynote speaker, Dr. Derrick Gay. Fairfield Public Schools does not condone this behavior and we will no longer be partnering with Dr. Derrick Gay pending a thorough investigation."

The email went on to assure FPS families that the district's goal is to provide "a safe and inclusive environment" for all staff and students.
“There was an inappropriate website URL which appeared within the keynote speaker’s presentation during yesterday’s Convocation," said Fairfield Public School Superintendent Michael J. Testani.
"While we understand that this wasn’t purposely placed within the presentation, we cannot ignore the fact that it occurred. We must acknowledge people’s feelings who participated in the professional learning, and as a district, continue to prioritize a safe and welcoming environment for all,” said Testani.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Derrick Gay, of course regretted the incident and any discomfort it may have caused attendees, before he denied responsibility for the slideshow gaffe. "However, to be clear, I did not place the content on the slide. I have used this slide more than a hundred times and have never seen this content before," said Gay.
The website URL that appeared in Gay's presentation led to, xhamster.com, an adult pornography site. The search appeared to be tied to a particular type of gay pornography.
Dr. Derrick Gay is a Diversity and Inclusion Strategist who consults with organizations around the world on designing DEI strategies. He also lectures MBA students at Columbia Business School and the International Fashion Academy in Paris. He is endorsed by organizations like the New York Times and the Washington Post, and has been promoted by the radical National Education Association teacher's union.
He has a special focus on school services and programs, including conducting "climate assessments" and providing training on microaggressions.

Community members can probably safely infer from the district's decision to bring in a DEI consultant as their keynote speaker at Convocation that the year will be full of equity and social justice.

I stopped reading when I saw the Dr.s name.

I design powerpoint files & know exactly how this happened: He had the PPT open in the background. He was busy hunting for p*rn and copied a link, then he THOUGHT he was in his browser and hit paste. (He was actually in powerpoint.) He hit paste again since it wasn't working for him. This creates a text field in the exact middle of the slide two lines long. He later closed his slide, it asked him to save changes, he did, and voilà. And on a slide with an erect-ing tree! DEI is demonic.
