Upon entering last evening's Board of Education debate held at the Westport city hall, I was confronted with the above sign. I literally felt revulsion in my stomach.
The day before I had been confronted with this from Black Lives Matter:
The day before that I had been confronted with this:
What I have never understood about Westport culture is the mindless virtue signaling.
I've never seen more 'Hate has no home here' signs in front yards than in Westport. The 'I stand with Ukraine' signs are everywhere.
Below are Ukrainian Nazis brandishing one of the emblems of Adolf Hitler's National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) in its early years. Do Westport residents even realize what they are supporting?
Do they even have the intellectual curiosity?
The BLM signs are there too. The Congregational Church in Westport had a huge BLM sign for months stretched across the sanctuary roof, impossible to miss.
Virtue signaling at its best. Those posting this brainwashed bunk are simply waiting to be told the 'next thing' to post.
They have no idea what they are talking about, because they are not intellectually honest, even with themselves.
Lenin would be proud. He had a term for this type of behavior - 'Useful idiots'.
A large percentage of the Westport population is Jewish. Please tell me how the BLM sign is still in City Hall?
It seems Westport hates alright - it hates itself.
Self-hate is a very destructive phenomenon, because it removes all critical thinking, reason that is needed for human survival.
‘War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength,’ from George Orwell’s ‘1984’ is alive and well unfortunately in Westport.
Full Disclosure - My stepdaughter is an Israeli citizen, and I find this BLM display extremely offensive.
