Westport's future is on the line Nov 7th in the coming municipal election.

For too long, Westport residents have ignored the nefarious changes going on in their school district. Now, the Marxist chickens are coming home to roost.

The district's 'equity study', pushed through the system over the last year, and about to be implemented in full, will radically change Westport student achievement. Westport students will be strong in Marxist core competencies like social emotional learning, but won't be strong in mathematics.

Remember, as James Lindsey said recently in Avon, "It's always about 'the revolution', nothing else!"

Student scores will atrophy as the focus becomes equal low outcomes, versus achievement.

Say goodbye to the Ivy League dream.

Don't believe me? Just look at our article in January of last year regarding Superintendent Scarice's record in his previous district of Madison, CT.

What Westport didn't hear at the time [of his hiring] was about the record of controversy and mismanagement during Scarice's tenure in Madison, which caused the district's school rankings to plummet from 4th to 41st in the state.

All you had to do was listen to Lee Goldstein in the BOE debate to figure out her focus is on pushing artificially-created 'mental health problems', and her statist remedies, at the expense of learning to read and write.

According to Goldstein (on video from BOE meeting), she is focused on making up for 400 years of oppression, rather than education basics.

I mean for goodness sake, the Westport Library is holding an event on 'toxic achievement' soon. Do you need anymore proof?

As the French poet once said, "Sometimes you have to see, what you actually see."

Home schooling is now raging across the Northeast United States, as well as nationwide, as parents become fed up with the Marxist agenda being rammed down their kid's throat, straight from Mao's book.

Once limited to the peripheries of mainstream education, home schooling is rapidly emerging as a force to be reckoned with. Between the Covid lockdowns, pissed-off conservative parents who don't want their children indoctrinated by mentally ill activists, reports Zero Hedge.

This trend isn't confined to specific regions or demographics; from the bustling streets of Upper Manhattan to the tranquil landscapes of Eastern Kentucky, families are increasingly opting to take the educational reins into their own hands.

Parents in Westport will eventually take matters into their own hands as well, and the public school system will suffer.

Property values will go along with it.

If you care about your child's future, and the future of Westport, vote Republican for the BOE in the coming election.

The future of your corner of the world depends on it.

Excellent article. But Westport is full of liberals and it will be difficult for even a moderate conservative to win a local election.
