Let's start by reviewing the timeline since Project Veritas ("PV") exposed two Connecticut transgender activists eager to help transition children without parental consent:
That brings us to July 12th, when the Hearst-owned CT Post published an article about two trans teens: the biological daughter of State Rep. Sarah Keitt, and a biological male trans activist from Out Accountability Project who was celebrated by Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, Rev. Aaron Miller, Tony Ferraiolo, State. Rep Keitt, Guilford State Rep. Moira Rader and others for speaking up on Transgender Day of Visibility in Hartford in March.
The article provides a pretty much one-sided look into the teens' choices to pursue a transgender identity early in life, joining the apparent social contagion, while at the same time ignoring the existence of detransitioners.

The timing of the biased article does not appear to be a coincidence, but rather seems designed to deflect negative press about transgenderism for children stemming from the DOJ announcement, the FTC meeting, the PV videos, etc.
That journalistic bias shouldn't come as a surprise since the article was written by the Post's "health equity" reporter, Cris Villalonga-Vivoni, who uses "they/them" pronouns.
The article complained about Trump "restricting gender-affirming care" for children under age 19, and expressed fear over the mental health of gender dysphoric youth if they are prevented from chemically and/or surgically mutilating their bodies.
"Some argue that there is insufficient scientific evidence and that care at such a young age could have a negative long-term impact on a child," wrote Villalonga-Vivoni, who failed to describe the adverse effects of gender care, and instead trusted that transgender advocates and medical providers who financially benefit from transitioning children know what's best.

R. J. Preece, a gay rights activist who grew up in Meriden, CT, and earlier this year led a call for a state-wide investigation into "all matters TransQueer" was shocked by Villalonga-Vivoni's "news" article.
"It is sad and beyond shocking, in this instance, what has happened to Meriden's Record-Journal since the White family sold the newspaper to Hearst," said Preece.
Preece continues, "In her reporting, sorry I do not engage in pronoun manipulation games, Villalonga-Vivoni has taken the role as a trans medical lobbyist right into journalist print. She didn't seem to know who a gender clinic whistleblower testifying in the CT legislature earlier this year was. Jamie Reed has been literally in over 15,000 news reports across the US including multiple Associated Press wires, her accounts largely vindicated in the New York Times that Cris ignored for trans medical lobby promotional purposes."
"It is time for transparency by Hearst media," says Preece. "If Cris wants to write editorials, fine, but news copy? Who is fact-checking her articles aiming for a journalistic standard? Is someone in Hearst editorial or ownership protecting a 'trans child' and cannot face the disastrous decision that s/he agreed to, while others on staff, fearful of losing their job, are afraid to say 'boo'?" asked Preece.
"Thank God the DOJ, FBI and FTC are now on the case to shut trans medical fraud, yes fraud, down," concludes Preece, noting that the FTC is specifically looking into deceptive trade practices employed by gender affirming care providers.

Deceptive practices include, for instance, when trans care providers emotionally blackmail parents by saying things like, "would you rather have a dead son than a live daughter?"
That is a false claim, per United States v. Skrmetti, hence the FTC's involvement.
In fact, when Justice Alito asked at oral argument in the Skrmetti case about suicide rates, the ACLU lawyer confirmed there was no evidence to support the idea that medical transition reduces adolescent suicide rates, an assertion backed up by the UK's Cass Report.
Meanwhile, Connecticut has covered gender-affirming care since 2015 through the taxpayer-funded HUSKY Health program, so you can find plenty of information on cga.gov about obtaining transgender medical care in the state.
For instance, the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services ("DMHAS") maintains a provider list.
First on the list is Anchor Health, the place located on the Greenwich/Stamford border co-founded by a couple of witches: Greenwich socialite Patricia Chadwick, aka "the Witch of Wall Street," and Dr. AC Demidont, a self described "Queer Radical Witch" once honored as "Woman of the Year" by the Greenwich YWCA, despite being born a man.
Anchor Health is also included on the Connecticut State Medical Society ("CSMS") list for pediatric gender care, along with Yale Medicine and Connecticut Children's. For gender affirming care, CSMS suggests Hartford HealthCare, Griffin Health in Derby, Middlesex Health, and UConn Health.
DMHAS additionally recommends the World Professional Association for Transgender Health ("WPATH"), which boasts 40 members in Connecticut.
As a reminder WPATH was exposed in leaked files that revealed shocking, widespread malpractice involving children in the hands of transgender medical providers.
WPATH "members are fully aware that children and adolescents cannot comprehend the lifelong consequences of 'gender-affirming care'" but that doesn't stop them from experimenting on confused, and sometimes even "developmentally delayed" children, as in the below example at Yale School of Medicine.

Yet despite the clear dangers stemming from gender affirming care for children, and despite the majority of Americans being opposed to such "care" for children, democrats in Connecticut keep on trying to protect the gruesome practice, both through legislation, and through Tong's seemingly endless lawfare.
We'll leave you with this short clip of Claire Abernathy's comments on "The Dangers of “Gender-Affirming Care” for Minors" from the FTC Panel Discussion (you can watch her full comment, starting at 35:40 in this video).
And we will continue to pray that the Trump Administration can break through the wall of Connecticut legislation and lawfare in order to protect children in this state from harm.

Excellent article, this is what news should be. This type of ideology does not belong near children.
